2026 Thesis Prize: 13 young PhD graduates honored by the Université Grenoble Alpes

On May 19, 2026 Accolade/Award
The Université Grenoble Alpes has honored thirteen doctoral graduates from the class of 2025 whose theis work is deemed to be of exceptional quality: 7 to recognize academic excellence, 3 to promote interdisciplinarity, 2 to support both technological and social innovation, and 1 to encourage ecological transformation. The awards will be presented at the “Doctoral Ceremony” on June 9, 2026.

Mission Accomplished for the 2025 PhD Students Welcome Day!

On December 12, 2025
This year, nearly 500 PhD students enrolled in their first year of thesis took part in the now-traditional "PhD Students Welcome Day." They were invited to explore the Maison du Doctorat to discover the UGA’s service hubs by following an enigma game organized in partnership with Prizoners, and attended plenary presentations by doctoral school. The day ended at EVE with an afterwork dedicated to socialising and a festive atmosphere with a giant karaoke session.

Doctoral School Languages, Literatures and Human Sciences

The Doctoral School Languages, Literatures and Human Sciences - ED LLSH (ED n°50) is one of the thirteen doctoral schools of the Doctoral College of the Université Grenoble Alpes.

Within this College, she represents research in literature (French, French-speaking and foreign literature, comparative literature, ancient studies, rhetoric), languages (languages, literatures and foreign civilizations, language sciences, FLE), language sciences (linguistics, phonetics, spoken communication, dialectology), didactics (of French, languages, literature), communication, journalism, and the arts (film studies, creative research, theater).

The ED LLSH is a member of the RESCAM network, whose mission is to promote research in Arts and Media, and Grenoble Alpes University hosts the Maison de la Création et de l'Innovation (MaCI), an innovative structure that develops new research, teaching and cooperation practices in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
